Local Plan Consultation Report: Addendum to Appendix 2
On 5 July 2017 Lancaster City Council published 'The Developing a Local Plan for the Lancaster District Consultation Report 2017' which provides an overview of responses to the Local Plan consultation 27 January 2017 - 24 March 2017.
The report includes four appendices:
• Appendix 1 – Promotion and Event Details
• Appendix 2 – Summary of Consultee Responses
• Appendix 3 – Petitions
• Appendix 4 – List of Stakeholders
We have now published an Addendum to Appendix 2, (Map Book). The Map Book shows the location of sites which are referred to by responders in Appendix 2. The sites include those which; have previously been considered by earlier Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA) in previous local plan consultation stages (in particular the 2015 People, Homes and Jobs consultation), or, new sites which have not been considered until this point. The Council welcomes background information on these sites, supported by evidence, most particularly matters of factual accuracy, from 4 August 2017 to 15 September 2017. Factual information can assist the process of determining whether or not sites are suitable for development. However at this stage the council is making the community aware of responses to consultation on the draft Local Plan, it is not making further draft proposals. Should, in due course, any of these sites be considered suitable for development purposes following the completion of the assessment process, and are then allocated within the emerging Local Plan, there will be an opportunity to respond to the published documentation.
All documentation can be found on the LCC website: Planning Policy Consultations.
Any information relating to background information or factual accuracy should be made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to Regeneration and Planning, PO Box 4, Town Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, LA1 1PJ. Please note: Representations which seek to support or object to these sites will not be considered at this stage.
