Mindfulness in Action - One day training course
We often fly through our day, tumbling from one task to another, without taking stock and making choices about what would be most effective.
We firefight and try to keep afloat rather than taking time to check in with ourselves, step back and make informed choices.
We expect so much of ourselves and keep running without noticing that our battery needs recharging.
Something more evidence based?
It is widely recognised that huge numbers of people are stressed and struggling to keep up with the pace of life. More and more is expected of us.
What if we could find ways to navigate effectively - take care of of ourselves / cope / learn more about ourselves so we can make informed choices / set boundaries?
We need to take care of ourselves and take responsibility.
So how can we do this?
By getting clear about what is important to us, seeing the things that really matter, we can begin to let these guide how we live our lives, and influence the choices we make.
Turn vague wishes into doable actions.
Letting go of striving and struggle, we can live our lives in a more authentic, effective way in line with our own unique hopes and aspirations.
Letting go of worrying about the future, or rehashing the past, we can be more fully in the present moment. Rather than let life pass us by, we can be fully alive, and awake for it all.
Sound good? Then we’d love you to join us for a day of exploration…. Just bring an open mind, and let us do the rest.
This event will be co-lead by Sarah Ludford and Susan Whitehead.
Sarah is a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication. She works with individuals and organisations across the North West supporting them to understand themselves and others and to communicate it ways that enable connection and collaboration.
Susan spent more than 30 years working in the civil service, and now pursues her dream of sharing her passion for mindfulness with others.
