Chamber Business Lunch

From May 25, 2022 11:30 until May 25, 2022 14:00

The Chamber is hosting a Business Lunch on Wednesday 25th May at The Lothersdale Hotel in Morecambe, our quarterly lunches attract over 80 local businesses and the Spring lunch aims to put the spotlight on decarbonisation.

The lunch is an excellent networking opportunity and regular attendees have reported that the business networking we provide is as beneficial, or more cost-effective, than any other form of business communication they undertake.

Our most successful networkers tell us that they get the best from networking events by being prepared to buy as well as sell, attending regularly, referring business to other members and working the room effectively.

The event takes a simple but effective format, allowing plenty of time for networking, but also opportunities for attendees to exhibit, enjoy a delicious lunch and take time out to listen to informative speakers.

The lunch will be hosted by Jon Powell, Head of Enterprise and Innovation Services at Lancaster University and President of the Lancaster & District Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber Business Lunch is expected to attract 80-100 North Lancashire business representatives, so it really is an event not to be missed.

We are delighted to be joined by the Leader of Lancaster City Council, Cllr Caroline Jackson, and the new Chief Executive Officer of Lancaster City Council, Mark Davies as Our Guest Speakers!

Lancaster City Council is leading the way locally and setting great examples to local businesses and residents alike on the importance of aiming for a carbon-neutral future for our district.

With fuel and nuclear in the limelight at present, it seems the perfect time to be using the lunch as a platform to further discuss the importance of decarbonisation.

It will also be a brilliant opportunity for chamber members to hear from both Cllr Jackson and Mark about their priorities for the district.
