No one can predict the future, particularly some of the peaks and troughs that affect businesses, can they? No, but good financial management will help you be prepared for what you do know about and make sure your business is strong enough to cope with the bumps in the road.
This workshop will introduce the principles of good financial management including budgeting and how to use the information to improve business performance. Practical, hands-on examples will give an understanding of how to use the techniques in practice.
These workshops will be delivered by Claire Gibb. Claire is a chartered accountant with over 20 years experience. She is passionate about working with SMEs to help make sense of the numbers; helping them to understand what’s going well and what’s not and put strategies in place to get the business to where they want it to be. After training with Deloitte, Claire worked on large infrastructure projects looking at the funding, financial projections and negotiating contracts before working in a variety of public and private sector organisations where she found a talent for supporting non-financial managers to understand and improve their budget management.
