Please sir, can I have some more?

From March 15, 2018 09:30 until March 15, 2018 12:30

As an accountant I am of course thinking of money.  Going to the bank or funders can be a daunting prospect and you need to know where to start.  In the first place, what is the right type of funding for what you need and are you confident that you are asking for the right amount?

This workshop gives an introduction to the different types of finance available and examples of when they are best used.  It will also give an overview of what makes a good business case that funders will want to support.

These workshops are available at a special introductory offer.

These workshops will be delivered by Claire Gibb. Claire is a chartered accountant with over 20 years experience. She is passionate about working with SMEs to help make sense of the numbers; helping them to understand what’s going well and what’s not and put strategies in place to get the business to where they want it to be. After training with Deloitte, Claire worked on large infrastructure projects looking at the funding, financial projections and negotiating contracts before working in a variety of public and private sector organisations where she found a talent for supporting non-financial managers to understand and improve their budget management.
