Azets, the UK's largest regional accountancy and business advisors to SMEs, is pleased to announce that it has promoted Jenny Pape to partner in its Lancaster office. This key promotion demonstrates Azets commitment to growing the business regionally.

Jenny enjoys developing relationships with clients in order to fully understand their needs and add value to their business. She will also be responsible for providing tax advice to Azets’ Preston office client base.

The firm has also recruited Nathaniel May as an audit manager. He joins from Deloitte where he operated in their private markets audit department working with large international owner managed businesses.

Susanna Cassey, Office Managing Partner at Azets in Lancaster said:

“I’m delighted to congratulate Jenny on her promotion to partner. She brings a wealth of experience to the role and her promotion is testament to her hard work and dedication. I’d also like to welcome Nathaniel to Azets. Our dynamic and ambitious team in Lancaster is expanding and Jenny will take a leadership role in growing our tax practice. As a result of the pandemic, we’re seeing more companies looking to use local firms. We’re well placed to do  this having had a presence in the area since 1968 and currently work with many of the leading businesses in North Lancashire and the South Lakes.”

"While it's been a challenging few months, it's important we plan for the future and ensure we invest in the firm. Ensuring we continue to develop future leadership signals the confidence and commitment we have in the market; Jenny’s promotion and Nathaniel’s appointment reflects the importance we place on delivering the best service possible to our clients across the region.”

“Many of our clients are finding new growth opportunities and improved efficiencies within the "new normal" following the pandemic and the UK's departure from the European Union; we are all looking forward with fresh optimism to the new challenges 2021 may bring.”
