Ascentis announced as BIBA Finalist
Ascentis, an education charity based in Lancaster, are delighted to be announced as a finalist in the Third Sector Business of the Year category of the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs).
The nomination comes at a time of growth for the Charity, who have recently added to their suite of Short Online Qualifications (SOQs), launching titles in Mental Health and Citizenship. In addition to this, Ascentis will be introducing a Social Media and Level 3 British Values SOQ later this year. These qualifications are designed to broaden the learner’s horizons, as well as providing practical skills that can be utilised in the field of work.
In the last academic year, Ascentis made an exceptional contribution to people’s education, helping a total of 139,916 people through their charitable work – through their suite of qualifications and their IDL dyslexia intervention software.
The BIBAs is Lancashire’s largest and longest running business awards programmes, with its main purpose being to reward great business and to drive growth, cultivate excellence and fuel innovation throughout the Lancashire economy. Ascentis will be at the Award Ceremony in Blackpool on 14th September eagerly waiting for the winners to be announced.
