Chamber Chat - Josh Rooney

We all know how vital it is to have a broad networking scope in today’s thriving and forever changing business community.

Whether you’re new to the scene or a long serving local, networking in general is beneficial to any business owner or worker. There’s also new faces joining the community every day with new business starting, new branches opening and more interest becoming visible in the area as each day goes by.

An obvious example of this is the Eden Project coming to Morecambe. Eden in Cornwall has welcomed over 20 million visitors since its opening in 2001. There’s many reasons why Eden chose Morecambe for their next project, but right now is one of the most important times to get involved locally and as above continue strengthening your networking scene.
A perfect opportunity to do this is our Spring Business Lunch, being held on Wednesday 3rd of April at the Globe Arena in Morecambe. With over 150 delegates already booked, we are very proud to be joined by the senior team from the Eden Project.  Confirmed as our guest speakers the team will give attendees an insight into their vision for Eden Project North
Our most successful networkers tell us that they get the best from networking events by being prepared to buy as well as sell, attending regularly, referring business to other members and working the room effectively. These are great essentials for making the most of your experience at our networking events.
I hope this article can change some people’s views on networking and make more local business people want to get involved. Big and small, there’s always someone out there awaiting your approach.
