Chamber Chat with Jo-ann Harney

The Chamber is now back hosting face-to-face events, and we couldn’t be more excited, our first face-to-face event was back in August at Lancaster Brewery where we welcomed over 70 Members. They enjoyed an evening social BBQ with local Lancaster Brewery beers and a chance for our new President Jon Powell to officially take the reins of the Presidency from Mal Garnett. The event was a huge success and lucky for us the sun was shining.

We followed this in September with our first face-to-face Chamber Breakfast Networking event at Vista Soul Bar and Restaurant in Morecambe, whereover 60 Members enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with the stunning views of Morecambe. It was amazing to see so many businesses all in one room networking for the first time in nearly 2 years.

We haven’t forgotten the Members who are still cautious of attending events in person and over the last few months have teamed up with Chamber Member, Novi Digital, to hold a series of webinars. These include Writing Effective Ad Copy, SEO for Beginners, SEO for Business Growth, Marketing & Content Writing, and the final webinar in the series is scheduled for 22nd November on the subject of Search Engine Optimisation. There are still places available and a link to all Chamber Events can be found below.

On Thursday last week we held our second face-to-face Evening Networking event at Fraser House in Lancaster, which was attended by over 50 Members. Chamber Member Pete Stephenson from Morecambe Bay Chowder supplied everyone with a delicious bowl of his creamy hearty Bay Chowder and wine was supplied by Chamber Members Adam and Liam from Chapel Street Wines.

All our attention is now focused on the Chamber Christmas Business Lunch which will take place on Friday 10th December at Lancaster House Hotel. Guests will be treated to a delicious festive two-course lunch, so book early to avoid disappointment as tickets are limited.

All events can be booked on the Chamber website or alternatively call the Chamber Office where one of the Team will be happy to speak to you.
