Hannah chosen to lead Harrison Drury’s Lancaster office
North West law firm Harrison Drury has appointed a new head for its Lancaster office as part of its plans to develop future leaders.
Senior associate solicitor Hannah Hughes has been named head of the firm’s Lancaster office.
As well as advising clients, Hannah will take a lead role in developing and managing relationships with the local professional community and businesses, as well as being a champion for local issues and community initiatives.
Harrison Drury's executive chairman, John Chesworth, said: “Having effective leaders is vital for any organisation at times like these. As we look to the future, it’s important for all our offices to have people who can seize the initiative and help our regional teams to flourish.
“In the time that Hannah has been with us she has demonstrated a keen drive to forge strong relationships with our people, clients, fellow professionals, and the business community.
“It’s been a pleasure to see her grow and develop her career with us and I have no doubt that Hannah will help others to do the same.”
Hannah, a commercial property specialist, joined the firm in 2015. She has developed a specialism in the agricultural sector and also leads the firm’s rural sector team.
She said “Our Lancaster office gives us the best of both worlds, working with an array of businesses based in the city, as well as working with lots of rural businesses, including farmers, landed estates and leisure and tourism businesses. Since we opened here in 2014, our client base and team has grown significantly, and I look forward to helping the firm continue this growth.”
