JOB TITLE: Finance & Administration Officer
SALARY: £19,000 to £21,000 pro-rata, (depending on qualifications / experience)
HOURS: 30 hours per week (over 5 days)
DURATION: Permanent (renewable annually subject to funding).
PROBATION: Post is subject to 6 month performance review.
LOCATION: Lancaster (some travel will be involved)
HOLIDAYS: 22 days + 8 Bank Holidays pro-rata (flexible working considered)
PENSION: 3% contribution to an agreed scheme (optional)
CLOSING DATE: Midnight Thursday 19th December 2019
INTERVIEW DATE: Wednesday 8th Jan 2020 (TBC)
START DATE: As soon as possible (open to negotiation).

ABOUT US
Lancashire Boys & Girls Clubs is an independent charitable youth organisation that provides positive social
development opportunities and experiences to young people through a wide range of projects, activities and
support services. We deliver this via member clubs and other youth groups throughout Lancashire with particular
regard for supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. To this aim we require effective administration
of our delivery services and operations. As a result this creates an interesting and rewarding role for someone
willing to apply themselves to a diverse range of tasks for a small charity.

THE ROLE
To contribute to the diverse functions of the association to include monitoring income & expenditure and general
office administrative duties, e.g. purchasing, invoicing, petty cash, communication, data collection and inputting,
record keeping, filing, ICT, marketing, customer service, information and advice and occasional opportunities to
work directly with young people.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST:
Have experience and qualifications in aspects of financial recording and monitoring
Possess an array of modern office skills including excellent ICT skills and understanding of processes
Be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to efficiency and effective working practices
Be an Integral team member and able to work on their own initiative
Be keen to learn and open to new ways of working
Be reliable, honest and trustworthy
