Non Levy Payer? You won’t be paying as much for your Apprenticeships from April 2019
January 09, 2019 - 11:00am
If you are a company that does not pay the Apprenticeship Levy (companies with a £3m+ wage bill have to pay a 0.5% tax to fund their apprenticeships) you will be used to paying the 10% Employer Contribution towards the cost of the Apprenticeship; but the good news is from April 2019 you will only have to contribute 5% of the Apprenticeship cost.
This is great news for businesses in the Lancaster and District area, allowing access to professional qualifications at an even more affordable price.
We all recognise that Apprenticeships are a great way of bringing new and eager talent in to organisations, we all recognise that by offering qualifications to existing staff you are investing in the continued success of your business and now all this has been made even more accessible for you.
PHX are your local provider of Apprenticeships and Qualifications in a variety of areas designed to help your business, be that in delivering training and a qualification to a new starter or by helping you to improve the efficiency and skills of current team members leading to greater staff retention and business growth.
