Piccadilly Support Services awarded charity status

The staff and trustees of Piccadilly Support Services are thrilled to announce their newly awarded Charity Status. The current economic climate is challenging for all organisations but in particular those that rely on funding. Charity status enables Piccadilly to access additional funding and revenue streams to help grow the services they provide and support even more individuals.

Piccadilly has been established for over 27 years providing tailored support services for local young adults who have complex additional needs. Activities range from arts and crafts, music sessions, life skills and with a heritage in horticultural services this also remains a strong focus today. They continue to provide a range of accredited courses through Lancaster and Morecambe Colleges.

The newly formed charity has a clear vision and strategic direction which will see it grow from strength to strength over the next few years as more vital services are provided for those who really need them most.

These are exciting times for the charity who are now hoping to reach out to local businesses to join them on this journey and support their growth.

If you know of someone who could benefit from Piccadilly’s services or holiday clubs, please get in touch with the team at info@piccadillygarden.com or call 01524 847 685 for a chat.

They would also love to hear from you if you feel you have services and skills that might benefit the charity or if you would like to support events in the form of corporate sponsorship.
Achieving charity status is the first step on an inspiring road ahead for Piccadilly Support Services and they look forward to developing stronger community links.
