The Chamber, here to help in these difficult times - Jo-ann Harney
It has now been nearly seven months since I joined the Lancaster & District Chamber of Commerce. It has been an eventful few months, and I joined the Chamber just a few weeks before the EXPO 2019 and what a baptism of fire that was.
Since then, I have had the opportunity to be involved in organising and attending many Chamber Events including Members Meets and the Christmas Business Lunch where I have met and talked to a lot of our Members, Ambassadors, and the Board. I now feel that I have a greater understanding of what the Chamber is about and what we can do to help our members.
Over the last few weeks, things have changed for everyone, and I now find myself working from home due to the Coronavirus, as does most of the country. This is a challenge for everyone; however the Chamber remains open during these unpredictable times, and we are all here if anyone requires help and support, the Team can be contacted on 01524 381331 or email@example.com
The Chamber website www.lancaster-chamber.org.uk is constantly being updated when we receive any information from either the UK Government, Lancashire County Council, and Lancaster City Council. The website is a fantastic tool for all businesses big or small to find and get any information or help they require.
A lot of our members are also contacting us regarding news and services they are offering, and this information can be found at https://lancaster-chamber.org.uk/news. If you are a Chamber Member and have any information you think will be able to help or support others, please contact a member of the Team, and this can added to the website.
Fingers crossed things will all get back to some sort of normality very soon.
