Three new recruits help drive Pinington’s planned growth

Pinington have taken on three new key staff members over the month of August to help with an ever increasing workload and planned sustain growth.

Steve Ecob - Contracts Manager

Recently of Robertson Construction, Steve has joined as Contracts Manager. Steve has a wealth of experience in all sectors of construction in the North West; based locally to Pinington’s headquarters, Steve will be working closely with Mark Ayrton MD and Nick Pinington Construction Director in the operations department and will ensure that strong communication links both
internally and with our clients and their advisors is maintained throughout the construction process.

Steve will also provide excellent local and regional supply chain knowledge.

Emma Eldershaw - Health & Safety Manager

Recently moving from Aegis in Preston and with over 14 years’ experience in planning and CDM management, Emma has been appointed as Health and Safety Manager for Pinington and will be based at the Lancaster head office.

Emma is highly experienced in all aspects of H&S management
and CDM regulations. Emma’s role will be to maintain and develop all Pinington’s internal H&S procedures, ensure all technical standards continue to be implemented and will also monitor all aspects of day to day site health and safety activities.

Matthew Hall - Assistant Quantity Surveyor

With an ever increasing amount of work in our surveying department, Matthew will complement our teams work load in this area. Matthew started his career as a student placement Quantity Surveyor with Thornber Walker Chartered Surveyors. He has a first class degree in Quantity Surveying and
Commercial Management and will play a key role in Pinington’s commercial element of the business.

Matthew is set to continue training to become a chartered surveyor with the RICS.
