Harrison Drury has added two more solicitors to its commercial property team in the Lancaster and South Lakes region.
Rebecca Cross has joined the firm from Poole Townsend and will be based at Harrison Drury’s Lancaster office advising a diverse mix of commercial property clients. She also has experience in residential property law.
Meanwhile, George Wilson has been recruited from JWK Solicitors and will be based in the firm’s Kendal office. George has a broad range of commercial property knowledge with particular specialism in advising agriculture businesses and landowners.
Allan Sumner, head of Harrison Drury’s property team in Lancaster, said: “Rebecca and George are two valuable additions to our commercial property team in the Lancaster and South Lakes region.
“Both have a strong pedigree in the property sector, great local knowledge and have gained excellent client experience. We’re looking forward to supporting them as they develop the next chapter in their legal careers.”
George, who qualified as a solicitor in 2017, is a former Sedbergh School and Lancaster Royal Grammar School pupil and graduated from Northumbria University. He grew up in Cartmel and now lives in Lancaster.
Speaking of his appointment, he said: “Harrison Drury is a firm that has grown consistently over the last few years and it has excellent values, both as an employer and service provider. It is a privilege to be on board.”
Rebecca, who lives in Cark, attended Cartmel Priory School and Barrow Sixth Form College before graduating from Northumbria University. She also qualified in 2017.
She said: “It’s great to be joining a firm with a culture for nurturing its staff and values that match my own. I’m looking forward to working with clients and fellow professionals across the region.”
