As the new membership officer, I wanted to take this opportunity to say ‘Hello!’ and officially introduce myself.
For those of you who don’t already know me, my name is Charlotte, and I joined the Chamber Team this January. Before coming to the chamber, I spent 6years as a fundraiser for a local charity, during which time I was also lucky enough to be a member of Lancaster & Morecambe Chamber of Commerce.
I’m very excited to join the chamber team, and I and looking forward to getting to know all our members and helping to bring a fresh perspective to the role.
So, what can you expect from me?
For our existing chamber members, my role is to be here to support and work with each of you to ensure you are getting the most from your chamber membership. As a diverse and eclectic group of businesses, I recognise that what a successful membership looks like is different for each of you.
All members will be given the opportunity to have full membership reviews, recapping the benefits of membership and how we can work with you to achieve your goals, whether growing your network, accessing support, or looking at training & development.
I will be working with Jo-ann to offer a wide range of events for our members and work with stakeholders to be the “go-to” organisation for business support and signposting in the Lancaster & Morecambe area. I will be sharing opportunities for our members and taking on feedback to make sure the Lancaster & Morecambe Chamber reflects our members and delivers the support our members want & need.
As membership officer, I am also tasked with growing the chamber and supporting new members in their chamber journey.
