How does it work?

When you intend to export you must complete a Formal Undertaking and Specimen Signatures form and send them to Lancaster & District Chamber of Commerce.

You then complete your documents and return them with a signed copy of your commercial invoice either by post or in person, to Lancaster & District Chamber of Commerces Office in Lancaster. Lancaster & District Chamber of Commerce operates a counter service between the hours of 10am - 4pm when documentation will be certified (if correct) while you wait. All documents received through the post will be processed on the same day as received (with the exception of Arab-British Certificates) and posted back to customers the same day.

Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce can now offer exporters the facility to electronically submit European Certificates of Origin, EUR1 documents and ATR documents.

Not only can you apply online, but we will check, approve, stamp and return your documents electronically. Any mistakes or inaccuracies can be corrected immediately. The system saves hours, and even days, for time-pressed exporters.
